1. What does a Country Commissioner do? The county commissioner is the business manager of the precinct. Their votes and planning decisions help frame the growth and future as well as make an impact in current areas. www.wilco.org
2. I don’t have much time. We are thankful for your willingness to help and welcome any time you can offer. Go to the Volunteer section and sign up. One of our staffers will contact you about your part on the team.
3. I’m a student but would like to learn about the process by volunteering. No problem. We welcome everyone who is willing. The process of elections is exciting and very educational. There are numerous ways you can help and even get your friends, class and family involved as well. By the way, many schools offer credit for students who volunteer for campaigns. We look forward to hearing from you.
4. What does hosting a coffee involve? Many people offer their time and their homes or business to provide an opportunity for their invitees to meet Cynthia and to hear the vision and values for our county. A host simply needs to notify of their interest. We will confirm the date of their coffee. Then you simply contact neighbours, friends, family coworkers who would like to meet Cynthia and learn more about the workings of our county and precinct and how it’s affecting them. You would manage the invitations and offer some light refreshments for your guests.
